It fits comfortably on the ankle or over a high-type boot. The holster is lightweight, 2 oz. without gear, and it's interior (area next to your ankle) is made of soft Nylon with double padding.
There are 2 compartments with an open top to gain quick access to your medical gear. One compartment is for a tourniquet (SOFT-T-W or CAT compatible); and, the other accommodates gear such as a chest seal, hemostatic gauze, bandages; folding knife, etc.
